Didn’t feel like being social
I’m feeling more confident as I’m losing weight
I’ve been overweight since my first pregnancy 6 years ago and I had tried several diets including Atkins, calorie counting, and even a ketogenic diet, none of which kept my weight off.
I made the move to choose Trissa as I was hoping for a solution that would train my body to eat proper portions and allow me to reduce my calorie intake without feeling hungry all the time.
I had my procedure a few weeks ago and I have lost 13lbs so far! I follow the program and focus on eating small protein packed meals which is easy to do because I find that I am not feeling very hungry.
I do feel I will be successful in the program as my Trissa support team is friendly and check-in on my progress regularly. I have had to make some lifestyle changes, but I’m feeling more confident as I’m losing weight and finding that I have more energy. I think I’m most proud that I’m finally making a change for a better and healthier lifestyle!

Felt she was missing out on life
I needed a program with extra support
Since I was only 18 years old I’ve been struggling with my weight. After trying Weight Watchers and my own attempts, with neither working for me, I realized I needed a program with extra support to help me be successful.
Working with the Trissa team, I learned that my portion sizes were too large and I was making poor food choices. I’ve had to make some adjustments which have been tough, but I never felt judged. As I’m being taught to make better decisions and lifestyle changes, my confidence grows and I feel hopeful for the future.
I’ve started making meals for myself which I’m really proud of as it not only helps my wallet and my weight but reminds me that I am important and need to take care of me too. So far I’ve lost 25lbs and I’m about 10 weeks into my journey. I’m quite comfortable with the weight I’ve lost, plus my sleep has improved!
I have much more energy which helps to keep me motivated and I know it will continue once I start working out more. For others who are facing challenges with their weight, I say – don’t give up. You just need to find the right weight loss tools and team for you. Mine is Trissa.

Wanted to get out and do more things
I’m most proud of admitting I needed help
Since the birth of my first daughter in 1998, I’ve had trouble losing weight, and although I tried quite a few diets I was always afraid of anything surgical. Trissa looked like a great alternative, the procedure and recovery were not difficult at all!
Now it’s been a little over 2 months and I’ve lost about 15lbs so far, although I’m still working on my food tolerances and choices as I’m figuring out what works and doesn’t work for me. I was a little discouraged at the slow weight loss rate at first, but I realize that slow and steady will give me long-term results. That is what will be different from my past weight loss attempts.
The great thing is that Paige, my Trissa nutritionist has been an incredible support for me. She makes me feel comfortable and well cared for as I start learning to be self-sufficient and strong.
I definitely have more energy though and I’ve weaned off all my meds! Now looking back, I’m most proud of admitting I needed help and taking the step to move forward with Trissa.

Was aging faster than she should
I’m excited to see what comes next
I’ve been overweight all my adult life and although I’ve tried many diets, all were temporary, and I gained the weight back. I chose Trissa because I needed some support and a plan I’d be able to stick to. My experience thus far has been very positive.
Following my procedure, I lost 16lbs in my first 2 weeks! The meal plan was easy to follow as I transitioned from clear fluids through to soft solids – they tasted good and were easy to prepare. What a motivator!!
When I switched to eating regular foods, I initially had some difficulties, but Paige, my nutritionist was always available to help me through this and has provided me with additional information and recipes to make my transition easier.
As the weight continues to come off, I’m gaining self-esteem and new confidence … now I’m very excited and hopeful to see what comes next. When people ask me how I did it, I say “Try the balloon, it’s a great alternative!”

Needed to stop the yo-yo dieting
Trissa has been a complete reset for me
I’ve struggled with weight gain for as long as I can remember. My entire adult life in fact. I’ve tried every diet out there: calorie counting, Body by Vi, Isagenix, Weight Watchers, but the minute I wasn’t just living off meal replacement shakes, I gained the weight back and then some.
I had thought about gastric bypass a lot in the past year, but it seems so permanent and invasive. Trissa is a great alternative because it has the same kind of effects without the lifetime commitment.
The procedure and recovery were much better than I had prepared myself for, and the staff has been supportive, knowledgeable and positive in keeping me moving forward. Everything has been tailored to me and what will work for my family, so I am not “dieting” alone – I am living a new healthier lifestyle that includes them.
Trissa has been a complete reset for me as it has allowed me to get the results I want quickly enough to not give up and say this isn’t working. Today I have much more confidence in controlling and maintaining my weight and I am excited about the changes my future holds.

Couldn’t be as active with her kids
I knew I was ready to go for it
By the time I decided to move to Trissa, I’d been overweight for over 15 years and I was tired of yo-yo dieting — I’ve tried every fad diet possible! I wanted a more permanent change, one that in a month from now would prevent me from giving up like I normally would.
I had a very easy recovery with Trissa. I had no issues post procedure, it was probably one of the best recoveries you could hope for. I have lost 16lbs in 6 weeks and I appear to be losing about a pound per week on a steady basis.
During the week, eating clean is easy, it’s on the weekends that I usually struggle, as I dine out and find it more difficult to always make the right choices. On occasion, I have had moments of feeling nauseous when my carb intake was too high, so I continue to work on changing certain eating behaviours.
I have begun to go on walks with my son, and I even got a Fitbit to track my fitness. I’m glad I was ready to make a change and go for it! Now I have more energy and love the fact that I am feeling good about myself.
